Introduction to programming with Scratch using artistic tools
The vision we develop during this course is transdisciplinary. We use artistic tools and methodologies to explain concepts associated with technology.
While attempts are made to separate technology and science from the arts, we believe that the two are complementary and even similar in certain respects, such as creativity.
That’s why we’re developing a range of intensive courses that serve as an introduction to lay the foundations for certain concepts, particularly those relating to ICT, and to reflect on and learn about technology with children using artistic methodologies. With this approach, we also bring the arts closer to children.
To this end, we offer introductory courses in software programming with Scratch for children aged 8 and over.
We also focus on free technology, because it offers a framework for access to knowledge, sharing, collaboration and the principles of cooperation, which are attitudes that enable the development of inclusive technologies for the common good.
