IMPACT23 Ecologies of attention

In November we will join the symposium IMPACT23 « Ecologies of attention ».
It will take place in PACT Zollverein (Essen- Germany) between the 8th and 12th
November.
IMPACT is PACT’s yearly interactive symposium, and invites artists, practitioners, theoreticians and advanced students from the fields of dance, theatre, performance, visual arts, new media, film, music, architecture and other extended practices in art and science, to engage with various research interests, working methods and artistic strategies.

In this framework Nit Tekna Logik wants to present IDÈES project, a multidisciplinary project that wants to create awareness around the impact of e-waste on environment and health by setting up a multi-layer project based on participatory workshops to understand from a scientific perspective the impact of e-waste, how it affects the air, soil and water and how that enters into our bodies also via the food chain, the use of artistic methodologies to transmit the information needed to the population, the creation of an open science network that links academic research and those directly affected and how to set up social and solidarity economic alternatives so that through training a new circular economy can be created around e-waste.

We are looking forward to the Assembly and exchange sessions in IMPACT23, to learn with and from others, get suggestions, ideas and possibilities that can lead us to find alternative ecologies of attention.
