International E-Waste Day

This year, on the occasion of International E-Waste Day, Nit Tekna Logik will organize several activities in Dakar on October 14. This event will be held in partnership with Setem and will take place at the MJFC in Dalifort-Forail.

Throughout the day, we will bring together all the stakeholders involved in the e-waste processing chain: neighborhood collectors, also known as scrap dealers, repairers, waste pickers operating at the Mbeubess landfill, environmental activists, representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as citizens who are aware of environmental issues.

Our goal is for this day to help us learn about the impacts of e-waste, but also to explore the opportunities it offers and the initiatives that each of us, at our own level, can implement to strengthen awareness and action around this issue.
